With RIBA Chartered and ARB registered Architects, MOJO strives for the highest quality design whilst bringing value for money to our clients through our experience of creating efficient yet inspiring spaces using robust and well considered materials. We provide a full Architectural service through all RIBA Stages.
Introduction
Having worked across several sectors over the past 10 years, the team at MOJO have extensive knowledge of the construction industry at every stage of the design process.
Working on projects ranging from £25k to £250m has given the team a diverse experience working on new build developments and existing buildings alike, including many listed buildings across the country.
We work with private clients, developers and contractors from RIBA Stage 0 to 7 , helping clients develop project briefs, carrying out feasibility studies that lead to planning applications and then developing these designs technically through tender and construction stages.
We believe that the most successful projects come from a strong and consistent team who are involved in the project throughout all RIBA Stages not just either design or technical. We believe that this consistency provides clients with value for money and retains project knowledge throughout the design process which reduces risk.
Working in 3D as standard, we also embrace the workflows of BIM Level 2 on all commercial projects whether this is a client requirement or not. We have inhouse capability of Clash Detection, COBie and are capable of working with point cloud surveys to create models of existing buildings. Using the most up to date technology helps create added value for clients as well as enabling amazing design.
Education
With experience of Key Stages 1 to 4 across numerous primary and secondary schools, MOJO have a proven track record of designing and delivering education projects with school clients and contractors.
Ranging from smaller extentions of £100k value to £20m 'superblock' new build schools, MOJO have the experience of designing efficient school layouts and the technical expertise required from both the DFE Generic Design Brief and the Building Bulletins.
Having delivered all of these education projects through RIBA Stages 4 and 5, we have expert knowledge of industry standard construction methods including modular off site construction.
Bars & Restaurants
At MOJO we love the experience of eating and drinking out, and take a keen interest in the design of bars and restaurants.
Having designed many exciting establishments in Greater Manchester from tropical Cocktail Bars, vibrant Mexican street food to sophisticated Whiskey rooms, MOJO specialises in providing services from initial concept, planning and building regulation approvals, interior design and branding.
Residential Apartments
Whether high end private developments, residential apartments or social housing schemes, MOJO has helped clients bring quality design to the projects and added value to the their properties all over the UK.
MOJO's team have extensive knowledge and experience of the residential/mixed use sector having been responsible for job-running not only smaller residential schemes of 2-10 apartments but numerous large scale developments up to £250m in value across the UK.
Sports & Leisure
The MOJO team are passionate sports fans and have extensive experience with stadiums, health facilities and sports clubs across the country.
Passionate about enhancing the sporting experience, we know what works for the fans as well as satisfying within our designs the requirements of funding bodies such as Sport England and authorities including SAGs using the Green Guide.
Culture
The MOJO team have experience working on a number of high profile cultural projects including Theatre projects in the North West, a listed Museum and Library, and a high street Regeneration programme.
We have worked on both Grade II and Grade II* listed buildings which gives us a good understanding of the technicalities and process of working on refurbishments of heritage buildings across the UK.
