Step 1
The Initial Meeting
The first step in creating your dream home is to meet up and talk.
We want to know your ideas and your aspirations.
Trust is all-important when it comes to choosing an Architect so the initial meeting will establish the relationship with your designer that will last until the end of the project.
From this initial meeting, we will book a date and time for Step 2 – Design Consultation.

STEP 1
The Initial Meeting
The first step in creating your dream home is to meet up and talk.
We want to know your ideas and your aspirations.
Trust is all-important when it comes to choosing an Architect so the initial meeting will establish the relationship with your designer that will last until the end of the project.
From this initial meeting, we will book a date and time for Step 2 – Design Consultation.

Design Consultation
The Design Consultation is where we discover what your true wants,
needs and aspirations are, and the time spent at this initial stage is vital as we will look at many aspects that may affect the design.
Taking between 1-2 hours, including the survey, it’s also the most rewarding as this is the time when ideas will be being created and formed.
Survey
We start with a detailed survey to understand and define your brief and determine the feasibility of your requirements.
Brief
Every house is different so in order for us to design exactly what you want we will discuss the projects approximate budget and answer any question which you may have, which enables Mojo to create a unique project brief.
Initial Design
Once we have all of the information and inspiration we need, our team will create your Design Consultation Document, which will contain existing drawings and two plan options for you to choose from.
When you have selected the design you love then we can agree to move into the Technical Design and Planning stage.

STEP 3
Technical Design & Planning
After you have chosen the desired design, we begin to develop your project in much greater detail. This is where we add all the additional information which is necessary for the required applications and once this stage is complete, builders have everything they will need to construct your project.
Detailed Design
We advance the design agreed upon in the previous stage, adding all the detail needed by any competent contractor to build your project. As we develop this more thorough investigation, we may find things that will need to alter slightly. Usually, these changes are for the better and all add to the design process.
Planning Design & Submission
With the Detailed Design complete we will amend the drawings and create a specific Planning Document, tailored for submission to the Local Planning Department. We handle the submission on your behalf in order to take away the hassle.
Building Control
Depending on the project, we might speak to a number of consultants such as Structural Engineers or Planning Consultants prior to engaging Building Control. We use our extensive experience and negotiating power with other specialists to reduce your overall costs.

MOJO has a network of talented, experienced Builders who we have worked with for numerous years on many projects. We offer an additional service where we will organise suitable pre-selected Contractors who will tender your building project at competitive rates. Our relationships are built on trust.
Site Visits
As an additional service, we can do regular inspections of work to ensure it meets specifications, helping make sure your dream MOJO design translates into reality.
