We increased the floor space in this victorian family home by 25% with this full house refurbishment. The brief was to maximise available space throughout the property whilst connecting the rear living areas to the garden to aid in social activities. This was achieved by wrapping two ground floor extensions to create a larger kitchen and new living space as well as focusing the homes gaze into the courtyard garden.

By reclaiming bricks from a local house built at the same time, we helped to reinforce the connection to the original property, whilst modern glazing and roofing anchored it in the present.
